Photo to Video Transfers / Photo Presentations
Are you looking for a unique gift for that someone special? Coastal Productions Studio, Inc. can create an original gift you can not find in any store. We'll put your old photographs onto a DVD together with customized music, special effects and personalized titles to produce your timeless gift. Electronic images (.jpeg, .bmp, .tiff) photos must be scanned at a 300dpi resolution and numbered & arranged in sequential order with a three-digit file name (001, 002, 003, etc.) and on CD-R.
All photos are color corrected and minor rips, tears or wrinkles are fixed. Using fluid movements such as pans and zooms, your photos are stylishly combined with unique transitions and special effects.

Getting Started
Begin by getting the photos together you wish to have in the video.
Place them in the order you would like to see them on the video and place a small number on the back of each photograph as a reference.
Decide which songs you would like to use (one song per 25-35 photographs).*
Write down any titles that you want on the video, for example, a main title, an ending title or titles to introduce different sections of photos.
Gather your photos, titles and music and make an appointment to meet with a CPS representative. We like to go over your project with you briefly so we prepare a final product for you that is truly personalized.
* If you need help with your musical selections, you may choose from our library of music which contains over 500 selections. Music that is not in our library can be brought in with the pictures. Any music not supplied by the client and not in our library will be purchased at cost to client.
We can also preserve your photos as electronic files as backups to your originals. We will scan your photographs at a 300dpi resolution and save them to a CD for your records.
Charge: $2.00/photo
(Depending on the number of photos these projects can be completed in as quickly as 1-2 days)
Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion of Photo Presentations.

DVD Creation
Linear DVD Conversions
Linear DVD conversions have arbitrary chapter points approximately every five minutes. $25.00 per tape up to (2) hours per disc for best quality. Combining multiple short tapes onto (1) DVD is an additional $10/tape. Example: (4) thirty minute tapes would be $25 (1st tape) and $30 for the additional (3) tapes ($10 each).
Authored DVD's
Authored DVD's include a customized menu and chapter points.
$100.00 per hour (bill time is approx. 4-5 times footage length - 1 hour minimum)
CPS uses Adobe Encore DVD to professionally author your project. We create completely customizable menu pages and chapters for easy navigation and a unique look for your final product.
Burned DVD's are not 100% compatible with all DVD players. If you have any problems with the DVD we create for you, please try the DVD on another player or we will be happy to refund the price of the DVD. Do not touch the bottom of the DVD. Fingerprints will severely affect the playback of the DVD causing skips, stutters and pauses.

DVD Replication
Replication is for 1000+ DVDs
Price includes: Creating / Using an approved DVD-R, creating a glass master, stamping each replicated DVD and 4-color screen printing. Jewel case & shrink wrapping also included. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Film Transfers to DVD
Regular 8mm, Super 8mm, or 16 mm - Sound and Silent
$119.00 (minimum charge) includes up to 200 feet for DVD.

Pricing includes: One top quality DVD-R, cleaning, splicing and removal of clear and/or black segments of film.
Slide Transfers
35 Millimeter Slides
$75.00 (minimum charge) includes up to 15 slides for DVD.
$3.00 each additional slide - High quality scan (300dpi) directly into computer as a digital image. Slides are held for approximately 5 seconds per image with cuts or dissolves between images.
$1.50 each additional slide - using projector with built in CCD camera. Slides are held for approximately 5 seconds per image with cuts only between images.
Options and Other Information
Music added is $75.00 per hour editing rate (minimum of 1 hour)
Additional DVDs are $15.00 for orders over two hours or for orders where additional DVD's are requested.
Approximately 1,600 feet of 8mm film, 3,200 feet of 16 mm film or 1200 slides will fit on a two hour DVD.
Titles are $5.00 per page (One color background)
How to organize your films and slides
Number all films and slides in the order you would like them transferred onto the final DVD
3-4 seconds of black is inserted between film reels to mark as a divider by default. If you do not want any black in between your reels or if you would like there to be a longer amount of time in between each reel please indicate that when you drop them off. Slides should be banded together or placed in a Kodak carousel. A handling fee will apply if slides are in a non-Kodak carousel.
** All transfers are recorded at the two hour speed.
Duplications
CD's and DVD's - Coastal Productions Studio uses the highest quality material when duplicating your master.
Full size and business card CD's/DVD's can be duplicated or replicated (depending on size of order) with your artwork printed on the face of the disc.
We also transfer record albums, audio cassettes & reel-to-reel to CD at a rate of $50.00/hour.
